october uppark dr bob france october's meeting //-- about us: woolmer forest heritage society was formed in 1982 under the name "woolmer forest archaeological and historical society" by a group of local enthusiasts who shared interests in history and archaeology. we are registered with the charity commission as a charitable incorporated organisation, cio no.1168637 which has the aim to raise awareness of the nationally and internationally important archaeology and history of whitehill, bordon and the surrounding area. we meet regularly in the forest community centre, bordon on the first wednesday in every month at 7.30pm (except june, july and august) and meetings are very well attended. a list of speakers is featured on our website in the "talks & events" section (see left). the society participates in local projects and organises socials and outings further a field to places of historical and archaeological interest. membership annual membership of woolmer forest heritage society currently costs £ 12.00. there is a small entry fee to attend each of our informative talks but this also covers the refreshments provided during the mid-way break. this is priced at £ 2.00
